今天，我非常荣幸能邀请大家来参加英中“旅游目的地国（ADS）计划”的启动仪式。欢迎中国ADS首发旅行团到英国旅游是一个非常重要的时刻，我甚至设法安排了在伦敦塔桥上悬挂横幅来庆祝这一活动！
根据旅游目的地国（ADS）计划，首发团将于7月24日启程前往英国。这要归功于英中两国政府之间的辛勤工作和密切合作。旅游目的地国协议可促进中国到英国的团队旅游，加强我们两国之间的联系。今天我非常高兴地宣布，我们的准备工作已经完成，旅游目的地国协议开始生效。
对于要到英国旅游的游客来说，这是一个特别令人兴奋的时刻。世界各地的英国人听到伦敦赢得2012年奥运会主办权时都欣喜若狂。伦敦是一座诱人的城市：不仅因为它是具有历史意义的英国首都，还因为它是英国现代文化、娱乐和商业的中心。
伦敦的名胜古迹将为2012年奥运会的举办提供令人心动的背景，崭新的奥林匹克公园包括体育场和水上运动中心等将为奥运提供最新的设施。
正是这种新与旧、古代与现代的结合才使英国成为一个无与伦比的旅游目的地。从这个方面来说，中国和英国在许多方面具有共同点。我们两个国家都拥有悠久的历史。我们两个国家都因为古老的传统和文化而闻名。但今日的英国和中国也都是充满活力的当代世界经济大国，并且相互密切合作，加深两国之间的政治、文化和商贸往来。我们两国都是多民族的国家。仅伦敦就有200多个不同民族，那里的语言达300多种。这是让英国成为如此多元化和有魅力国家的原因之一，也是让英国受到每一位游客欢迎的原因之一。
我们今天在这里庆祝“旅游目的地国”首发旅行团正合时宜，因为今年我们还将举行庆祝世界上第一个旅行团诞生150周年的纪念活动。
