李伟，1958 年出生，中国现代国际关系研究院院长特别助理，研究员，博士生导师，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家。研究方向主要为国家安全、国际安全形势、国际恐怖主义与反恐怖斗争等安全领域。主持编撰10 多本相关专业书籍，如《国际恐怖主义与反恐怖斗争》《重大国际恐怖案例分析》《人质解救与特种部队》《国际恐怖主义与反恐怖斗争年鉴（2003-2012）》《一带一路沿线国家安全风险评估》等。 Li Wei, special assistant to the president, doctoral supervisor, and researcher with the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations CICIR. Li is an expert receiving special government allowance from the State Council of China. His research focuses on national security, international security situation, and international terrorism and anti-terrorism. Terrorism has been a major threat to the world for a long time. Fueled by extremist ideology, terrorist activities have developed into large-scale, organized systems, becoming an ever-growing threat to human society in the modern age.Since the 1960s, the conflict between different ethnic groups, religions and sects, plus the turbulent international situation have catalyzed the rapid spreading of international terrorism. As the 1970s began, terrorist organizations continued to evolve various means and methods of terrorist attacks, such as hijackings and car bombings, inflicting greater brutality and destruction to humankind.
