A good place for a city? Perhaps not. The weather changes quickly, and often cold white fog comes in over the bridge. There are about seventy hills forty-three of them with names, and some of them are very steep. There is water on three sides of the city; the views are good, but getting in and out of the city is not always easy. And earthquakes bring fire, and sometimes death...
But millions of people come to San Francisco every year. They come to walk around the city and ride on the cable cars. They visit the neighbourhood of the hippies, and eat wonderful food from the sea. San Francisco is not the same as other cities and that is why they love it.
旧金山这里适合建城市吗？可能不适合。旧金山的天气多变，经常有冰冷的白雾弥漫在大桥上，蔓延到城市中。旧金山市内大概有70座山（43座山已被命名），其中有一些山非常陡峭。旧金山三面环水，虽然这里景色优美，但进出旧金山并不容易。而且，地震会带来火灾，有时甚至是死亡
