张志强,教授,副院长,博士。师从我国著名翻译理论家吕俊教授。2000年起担任翻译学及文学方向硕士生导师,2003年起兼任教育硕士导师。作者以翻译研究、文学批评和翻译教学研究见长,翻译批评研究和翻译教学研究、尤其是对著名美国作家、翻译家赛珍珠的研究,在国内有一定影响。理论与实践并重,已发表翻译与文学研究方面的论文30余篇,翻译文学作品和各类实用性文本资料300多万字。河南省翻译协会常务理事,全国翻译院系负责人联席会理事,中南省区外语教学研究会理事,国际刊物Theory and Practice in Language Studies 编委。
